General
Glossary
TreeDraw maintains a link between each imported text element and the Legacy database/table/field(s) it originated from. This allows you to update your tree to match any textual changes in the original tree file without having to re-import the tree. You can also modify or lock this link.
Which chart elements do you want to update?
Select All if you wish to update every text element in the chart. If you only want to update the text in the currently selected elements, select Selection.
Only update text elements which are linked to these Legacy databases
You can also limit the update to text linked to particular databases by clearing the All databases option and selecting one or more databases from the list (use the Ctrl key to select more than one database).
Note that the current settings of "Ignore lines with no data" and "Use short locations" in
"Options | Preferences | Import fields" will affect the text update feature.
You can make TreeDraw automatically update the text each time a particular chart file is opened by setting the option in
"Options | Preferences | File settings".
